Connection issues - CRM for Outlook client RRS feed

  • Hi,

    in our company we are currently using MS CRM Dynamics 4.0  and we have some issues with the CRM for Outlook client especially when used off site (when the user is travelling or using his home wireless connection). Disconnections, unable to connect via Outlook, system requesting to enter the password every time the users tries performing an action, Outlook CRM toolbar disappeared so it is necessary every time to run the diagnostics and "fix" to have it back, in some cases even necessary to reconfigure the Outlook CRM client again. Does anyone have any idea why this is happening, is anyone experiences the same? The answer we got from our provider was that installing the latest roll ups would solve this issue, but this was only partially true. In a few months we will upgrade to version 2011, is that version of CRM working better in terms of CRM for Outlook client?
