2010 keeps trying to install RRS feed

  • I am running Microsoft Office 2007 Small Business on my work computer.  Several months ago, I attempted to upgrade to Microsoft Office 2010, only to discover the last license had been used.  I went back to using 2007 and had no problems until yesterday, following a Microsoft update.  Now, anytime I click on a word document icon, to open it, on my desktop, the computer tries to open the 2010 install/setup screen.  If I right click on the document icon and choose 'open with 2007' the program opens, but the document does not.  The only way I am able to open a document is by opening the 2007 program, clicking on 'file open' and then scrolling through

  • sorry, to open a file, I must click on 'file open' and then scroll through all the documents on the computer.  can someone please help me go back to using JUST 2007 and getting rid of the 2010 install/set-up prompts?
