I accidentially took away my permission to access a single daily used file

  How can I change this back so I can have permission to access this file again. I have already reset it to an earlier date point, to no avail. I have tried to follow help instructions but nothing. I am talking about a rather full file and I attempted to cancel it, but got that all messed up also. I need this file and if you can help me that would be so helpful.

  I run Windows 7 on an HP Pavillion Elite HPE desktop at home.
