Problem about setting/config file. RRS feed

    Hello anyone.

    I know that we divide setting to 2 scope.

    • 1.Applicationsetting that have only default value , can't change at end user , all users read at same config.
    • 2.Usersetting that have different value base on user account , can change at end user , all users read at another config.

    When we change anything about usersetting it will store in userscope right?

    So that make another users can't use that config.

    Then how can I have some config that have this features ?

    • 1.All users in machine read same config like application setting.
    • 2.That config can change at end user.

    Hi,

    The forum is main about “visual studio installation”. We talk about question about Install/Uninstall visual studio here. As your description, I am afraid your problem is out of support in the forum. Which type of application do you create? As far as I know, Application settings allow a Windows Forms or ASP.NET application to store and retrieve application-scoped and user-scoped settings. If you create Windows form application, you should post your thread in the forum:
