Failed validation RRS feed

    My copy of Office 2007 has failed validation stating that some files may have been tampered with and Microsoft is unable to establish whether my software is valid.


    I have run the Diag and paste dthe results from the Office section below

  • Uninstall, then reinstall your genuine version of Microsoft Office.  Then visit http://www.microsoft.com/genuine/office/WhyValidate.aspx

  • Thanks for that.


    I have uninstalled, restarted machine and re-installed.


    Software installs and activates fine but still fails validation.


    It is OEM software.

  • Something must be wrong with their validation process/server.  It's failing my validation on Office and it's passed the last 5 times it's validated.  Annoying as could be, but it is Windows.
