XP 64 support! Way to go MS. Way to continue to ignore your own O/S users. You know, if I could, I'd spit in the face of the XP 64 project manager for continuing to ignore us across the board from drivers (with their own products mind you) to software, I'm that upset.

Last I checked XP 64 was still on the books and is not dead - still being sold and bundled on select systems as well. I'm so sick of this that Apple is looking better every day I turn my system on.

  • XP 64 is a niche operating system. Yes, it is a good operating system, but not one that we are likely to see OneCare ported to. OneCare is designed for the typical home user - and typical home users are using XP 32 bit and Vista. Vista x64 support is being added as many OEMs are now including Vista x64 on new systems and I expect that to be more common going forward.

I know Steve - we've talked before about this.

My whole point is XP 64 is still being sold and offered with new systems. It's support has not expired yet and until then should be supported.

I have absolutley no intention of even considering the move the Vista until they get many issues I have a problem with resolved. That awful UAC needs to disappear.

I'm serious, MS is been nothing but pissing me off and I'm just about ready to make the jump back to Apple.
