    Hi All,

    I have an issue while installing ms crm4.0 in Windows server 2003. the eror it says

    “Action Microsoft.Crm.Setup.Server.AddServiceAccountsToSqlAccessGroupAction failed.

    General access denied error”.

     

    Any idea, please help some one

    Are you logged in as a user that has rights to create and update Active Directory objects?

    SQLAccessGroup is an active directory security group that CRM creates during installation.

    Yes, the installation account has all the priviliges in AD.

    This error is indicative of not having permissions on the SqlAccessGroup in AD. I suggest you enable security auditing of security failure events on the domain controllers (and maybe the CRM server) to get more information about the problem
