I have Microsoft Vista Ultimate, I tried Windows Live One Care and did not like it when I tried to uninstall I lost desktop which at the timed seemed like everything. I eventually started getting on line via task manager. I downloaded the Live Care Cleaner and uninstalled it, but there are still a lot of programs that won't work, Windows update, I can't Validate Windows, Rhapsody no good, I can't install anything unless I am in safe mode and then only hardware drivers and maybe a few programs no windows updates, gametap, Netflix player, diagnostics but what is strange is a lot of programs do work internet explorer, Firefox (Sometimes), Office(2007), AOL Player, etc. What really stinks is that I ordered the Vista upgrade online and downloaded and installed I do not have the installation disk, when I go to digital locker I could download Vista again but it won't run, and I can't do back up or restore and I cannot delete or move ANYTHING from my desktop. Any suggestions would be awesome.
