Would you describe where you got the Product key? (did it come with your computer, did you buy it with a retail version of Windows?...so on).
Would you describe how you are trying to register the key? And describe what happenes? Please be specific.

The product key affixed to your computer is for Windows Vista (the operating system) and not for Microsoft Office. Please review the following:

my not working product key came with the laptop i bought, it's lenovo 3000 N200. i try to open word and the message "enter your product key" comes. i enter it and another message comes "the key is incorrect. verify that you have the correct key and than retype it"
