Tracking emails in CRM2011 RRS feed

  • Hi

    We use both the Outlook client and the web version.  We've found a number of emails sent internally via Outlook that have tracked in CRM however which contain sensitive information (not manually tracked in Outlook client).

    Personal options are set to only track emails in response to CRM emails.  There is no 'regarding' or tracking token attached to these messages so I'm unsure how to resolve and stop this happening again.

    What is the criteria for tracking an Outlook email into CRM?

  • If they  sent e-mail by clicking e-mail address in crm contact preview pane, then  it gets tracked automatic. 

    or I have you looked if e-mail recepients had another crm user and then tracked as activity?.
