On-Premisis deployment of the Customer Portal with Claim-Based Authentication and IFD emabled RRS feed

  • Question

  • The WebSiteCopy.exe will not conenct to the Dynamics 2011 server with CBA and IFD enabled.  I can disable CBA and IFD to run the websitecopy utility and upload the customer portal.  however if is then re enable CBA and IFD the portal fiales to load.

    Clearly there is an issue with the web.config file regarding the connection string

      <add name="Xrm" connectionString="Url=http://crm-server-name:port/crm-organization-name; Domain=user-domain; UserName=user-name;Password=user-password"/>

      <add name="Live" connectionString="Application Id=0000000000000000; Secret=aaaaaaa"/>

    But Whats the resolution.  I donot whant to leave CBA and IFD perminantly disabled

  • Hi

    Download the latest SDK and use the latest WEBSITECOPY

    That works fine with IFD and Claims based auth.
