  • It is unlikely that you received a OneCare update today unless your PC has not been connected to the Internet for several weeks. The last program update for OneCare was deployed weeks ago. However, there have been a large number of Windows Updates deployed last Tuesday - the monthly security patches. These would have come to you via Automatic Updates and would have installed automatically and rebooted the PC, usually overnight and any time since 8/12. If you encountered a problem with a Windows Update, see the Windows Update Solution Center - http://support.microsoft.com/ph/6527 - for support options.

If, however, you are certain that a OneCare update caused the problems, please contact OneCare support for assistance.
