office xp validation RRS feed

  • I'm working on a pc with windows xp and office xp, windows validation is ok, office xp says that is activated but the oga validation says is not activated, have working fine for 6 years . Help dont now what to do to fix it.

    There have been a lot of customers reporting the same thing as you have:  on a longtime activated and validated installation of Genuine Office XP, all of a sudden OGA validation tells you that Office XP is not activated, but Office XP thinks it is.

    So far, a very effective, quick, and easy-to-do solution has been to follow Method 2 in this MS KB article:  http://support.microsoft.com/default.aspx/kb/903275/en-us
