Remote Desktop to Win 7 machine with shuffling wallpaper RRS feed

  • Question

  • When I remote desktop to my Win7 machine the colour scheme converts to Win7 basic (nice feature) however after some time of being connected the Win7 machine shuffles the desktop wallpaper.

This slows everything down as I have to wait for the remote desktop software to catch up and display the new wallpaper.

Any way to disable shuffling wallpaper just for a remote desktop session?

    Cheers.

  • Not that I am aware of. You would need to disable it for the desktop display properties in general.
Can you right click the desktop when connected via remote desktop and select properties and have access to the setting to not shuffle the wallpaper?

    Development suggestion perhaps!?

  • More configuration options for the session is certainly something that has been suggested many times, so we can hope that the developers listened.
