Access issues for Custom Reports

Hi Experts ,
We have defined a set of custom reports and created a security Role as "XXX" . XXX has normal priviliges . Now We assigned the XXX-users with the set of Custom reports . but the users are not able to run the report , It's throwing error as " no access" pls contact admin . We even tried in sharing the reports . No use . For XXX Role , I have defined "READ" & "SHARE " access to Reports . Can any one suggest on this .

hi,
It seems that you have created a new Security role rather than Copy Existing "System Administrator" Role.
Always copy an existing role and do the changes like add / remove roles.
Go to CRM -> Setings -> Administration -> Security Roles -> Select "System Administrator" Role -> More Actions -> Copy Role -> Specify new Role Name
And od the changes.

Enable trace and try to get some more information on the error

Hi,
you have to options here either use
Diagtool it will enable trace for you
or follow instruction in below KB article

hi,

It's already a live system ... Developer has created everything .. even Trace is not working for me .. any other suggestions on this
