    Hello guys,

     

    Please is there any major difference between a Task and Assignment in Project Server terminology?

    Hi,

    there is a major difference. If you add ressources to a task, assignments are created for this task: one for each resource.
    An assignment is the matching of a resource to a task to do work: a task plus a resource equals an assignment.
