Hello Wagnard,
According to this MS KB article, Windows Millenium Edition is not one of the Windows Operating Systems that must be previously installed in order for you to legitimately use a Volume Licensing edition of Windows XP Professional: http://support.microsoft.com/kb/931858
Is your use of this Windows XP Pro Volume License associated with an organization that holds a current Volume Licensing Agreement with Microsoft? If so, you need to bring this situation to the attention of the IT support staff.
If you are an individual user with no associaton with the organization that holds the Volume Licensing Agreement under which the installed product key was issued, your use of this Volume Licensing installation of Windows XP Pro is nongenuine.

Hello Wagnard,
According to the following section of the report, you do not have the WGA Notifications Utility files installed, so it's a little odd that you would be receiving "popups" about nongenuine software:
Windows XP Notifications Data-->
Cached Result: N/A, hr = 0x80070002
File Exists: No
Version: N/A, hr = 0x80070002
WgaTray.exe Signed By: N/A, hr = 0x80070002
WgaLogon.dll Signed By: N/A, hr = 0x80070002Under what conditions and/or at what websites do you see the nongenuine notification? Could you post a link to a screenshot?

Its not a pop up from internet explorer. Its the wga message I get when I logon, that tell me that I may be victim of piracy etc...
It started to happen after I reinstall windows xp with sp3 integrated (Microsoft official Vl iso with sp3 slipstreamed into it) and doing the first windows update that include the Windows genuine advatage update .( or something named similar)
For your information I use the French version. just in case it may help...
I also saw that the bios of my system is verry old. maybe it could cause the problem. ill check later.

Hello Wagnard,
What happens if you go to www.microsoft.com/genuine and click on the Validate Windows button, let it run, then restart the computer and logon again?

It say that the windows validation was successfull.
Problem still rise after.... Like I said in a previous post, the bios on thuis machine is verry old an outdated. when I have the time and ressource to mess with it, ill try and keep you informed.
Btw this WGA is really disapointing for me... we pay for windows and I get this while I know some pirated friend who do not have this problem.... Make me wonder if I should crack my original copy.... hope you see the point.

Hello Wagnard,
Did you do a fresh/clean installation of Windows or did you do a repair reinstallation? If a repair reinstallation, what was it that was wrong that you wanted to fix with a repair?
I would be very surprised if the cause of this issue is an older BIOS.
Is there a Certificate of Authenticity for Windows on this IBM computer? If so, please state the version and edition of Windows listed on it, but do not post the product key.
