    we  need to merge a  word  doc with CRM  2011 which might  have  data  in tabular format.Is  that possible  having data  in  tabular structure.

    Also theis  word  template  will be  dynamic i.e  it may change  acc to business .How  to handle this.

    Could you explain a little bit more?

    Do you want to start the mail merge from within CRM?

    If so, you CAN have data in a tabular structure in a Directory Mail Merge.

    For single (header like) information, you would have to use the MERGESEQ formula. Like:

    { IF {MERGESEQ}="1" "put al your header information right here" ""}
    Now put your table here and throw in the mail merge fields
