I just had project installed on my computer, but I am not even sure if it is the right software to achieve my objectives, and don't want to spend the time learning it if it isn't. Specifically, can I
1. Download information into it from Quickbooks?
2. Create separate files for different projects that can then be rolled up together into one timeline for staff planning purposes?
3. Use it to put input items in some sort of a form I could set up with about 50 fields of information (project name, project manager name, costs, mark up, deadlines, etc.), and then run customized financial reports from this grid? Reports like
revenue generation, profitability, etc.
4. Link different projects so that when one project file is updated, the information flows to other projects and the company roll ups?
