Loss of connection to whs after backups RRS feed

  • Question

  • I've a win7 client and a xp client to my whs. At around 96% of both backups the eventviewer of the client reports a failed backup: in two events. The Homeserver however reports a normal finished backup job. However the homeserver loses it's connection to the network also presented in the eventviewer.  To restore the connection I have to disconnect and connect the network cable to my homeserver and it's connected again.
I haven't tried the backups but on the Computer&Backup console at the WHS the details of the backups are looking fine, so I suspect the backups are ok.
I think the backup finished fine on the server but before it can report this back to the client the connection is lost for some reason.

It has done this since a month now before there where no problems of this kind. Also the loss of connection only occurs at the end of eacht backup.

below the events in chronological order at the end of the backup
