Can we have a new build/version of MS Reader please? RRS feed

  • Question

  • MS Reader for the Windows Mobile platform is woefully out of date. The MS Reader web site still refers to Pocket PCs! It doesn't seem to be possible to register a WM device any longer - the process just fails.

In addition, with WM 6.1, MS Reader is slightly broken - the library display in landscape mode just doesn't display at all.

The Reader format seems to be alive and well, it just seems to be the software side that is wilting.

MSFT should have a reader that can be used on a cell phone
amazon already has kindle download for the iphone and now barnes and nobles has an ereader software for blackberry, iphone, pc and mac, not WM!!!

in addition, MSFT    should encourage someone to supply a huge volume of books and periodicals that can be used on the reader.

i have a kindle but i would rather carry only one  gizmo, not two.

this is obviously an area where demand exists and msft should be able to provide a solution

  • I agree with you Peter and as an FYI, it is my understanding that work is currently going on.
