Looking to disconnect a RDC RRS feed

  • Question

  • I work with a computer using Server 2003. We have computers connecting to it thru out the day, and not everyone is understanding that to disconnect, Log Out. They close their connection window instead of the log out option leaving the connection open. My question is, is there a way i can manually disconnect one or any connection made using RemoteDesktopConnection? Also, is there a way to increase the amout of connections allowed?

  • If you have the right access priviliges you should be able to just install the administrative tools pack on your PC, then use the Terminal Services Manager and connect to the server to log off the listed inactive RDP sessions.
