What is recommeded field in crm 2011 contact entity?

  Hi,

  Field requirement level are 3 types,

  1. Business Required  -- This is mandatory field 

  2. Business Recommended  -- may be filled or may not be filled

  3. No Constraint  -- no need to fill

  You can change any field to business recommended, required and no constraint as per your client or business requirement. you can set this in two ways on is using Jscript and another inbuilt. Please go through the following links,

  Recommended filed is nothing but whether you fill the field or not, this field is recommended by business like firstname in contact entity.

  To keep it simple.

  Business Recommended means user may choose to enter value in the field or may leave it blank.

  No constraint is enforced on the field. By entering value in a "Business Recommended" field, the CRM application may server the user in a better way or can be more useful.

  The application expects the user to enter value in the field, if the user do not have the information or do not want to enter then he/she can leave it blank.

  Recommended is not required field for the CRM system but it is good to have this data from business prospective. You can change any field to be Business Recommended using customization.
