  • Hi,

This exam is part of the MCSA: Windows 7 Certification that requires exam 70-680 and 70-685

    http://www.microsoft.com/learning/en-us/mcsa-windows-7-certification.aspx

There is also an MCSA: Windows 8 is also available:

    http://www.microsoft.com/learning/en-us/mcsa-windows-8-certification.aspx

Exam 70-680 is not part of that certification but you can upgrade from MCSA: Windows 7 to MCSA: Windows 8 with exam 70-689.

    Good luck with the exams!

  • By passing 70-680 and 70-686, you have already earned the titles:
MCITP: Enterprise Desktop Administrator on Windows 7
    and
    MCSA : Windows 7

For the MCSA: Windows 7 title, you can pass either 70-685 or 70-686.

When you pass 70-685 before January 31st, 2014, you will automatically earn the title:
MCITP: Enterprise Desktop Support Technician on Windows 7

After January 31st, 2014, the MCITP titles will no longer be available.

As Danny suggested, you will probably want to upgrade to MCSA: Windows 8 with 70-689.

Even if you don't upgrade to MCSA: Windows 8, you can still upgrade to:
    MCSE: Desktop Infrastructure
    by passing 70-415, 70-416, and 70-417.

    Good luck!
