Question
-
So... I got redirected here from the O365 forums.
I have a customer who has 10 users and wants several CRM instances, production enviroments they want to have 2 users on a Billing enviroment, 2 on a sales enviroment, 2 on a support enviroment, and so on...
Is that possible? do you guys have any advise for me? perhaps an article.
I already tried calling CRM and the rep told me several times that he didn't know and he Told me he had to disconnect the call since he had another call waiting... kinda messed up. Either ways, you guys are all i have left. Please help.
Thanks,

Guess it is possible.. Refer the articles below
http://www.microsoft.com/en-us/dynamics/crm-customer-center/crm-online-fall-13-faqs.aspx
You should also be able to validate this with your MS Sales Rep (Technical / Solution sales pro / Account Mgr)

Hi,
Are you sure you need separate environments?
they are separate instances of CRM with no data sharing and you will have
the associated overheads of supporting multiple instances.
Have a look at business units and security roles within CRM as you should be
able to use this to separate access according to units such as sales, support

It is supported, CRM now support multi instances under same O365 accounts, and you can also share the license between instances.
If you are not sure how to do that, you can simply submit an Online case to Microsoft.
