    Hi

    Following the forum articles about Money Plus Sunset, I have downloaded the link given, but now when trying to open Money, it will not accept my password. Any thoughts?

    Disconnect from the Internet.  Start Money, and log in offline.
    Remove your LiveID.  Do not attempt to change your LiveID.  If you
    already changed your LiveID, use the credentials that were in
    effect at the time that you saved that Money file.
     
    To remove the Live ID in Money 2006 or later, go to
    File-PasswordManager, and choose to remove your LiveID.  To remove
    or add a conventional password, also see File->PasswordManager.

    Cal - for the same problem, I disconnected from IT, Started my Money Plus Sunset Deluxe, but there was no place on the screen or in the listing when I clicked File for me to login offline or to remove my Live ID.  Nor was there any Password Manager wherein I could remove my Live ID.  Do I need to go somewhere else?  Thank you  Neillecho

    What message/box did you see when you tried to open your old file?

    You cannot remove the password until you are inside of your Money file already?

    Cal  - thanks for your request for info on my original inquiry - today I just tried my Monet Sunset and it opened with my old password when I used the 'restore backup' function.  Maybe because I had just recently downloaded Sunset and asked it to set up a new account; then it did find and restore my old backup using the old password.  Thanks for your guidance!  Don't know how to give you 'points' - but I sure will if I can learn how,
