    every time i press "OK" at the windows live has verified your account screen, i get this error message "Microsoft Fix it Center has encountered an unexpected error, please try again. Error Code: 16977922--2146893813"

    the error seems to be preventing my system from registering properly on the fix it online page.

    i've tried googling the error and searching this forum but did not find anything useful

    OS: WXP SP3 32-Bit

    CPU: Athlon XP 2800+

    browser: IE8

    all updates installed

    AV: MSSE | scan results: negative

    Firewall: Windows Firewall
