Can't get 2007 R2 communicator client to show Outlook appointment details to team members RRS feed

  • Question

  • Running OCS 2007 R2 server and clients 3.5.6907.0 , with Outlook 2007 SP1.  When a user sets an OCS contact with access level ' team' the other team member just sees them as busy and the end time of the meeting but not the subject or meeting location.  There are no OCS client exchange integration errors and the uccapi log shows the meeting details e.g xsi:type="calendarState"><availability>6500</availability><meetingSubject>test meeting</meetingSubject><meetingLocation>i25</meetingLocation></state>

How best to diagnose this issue?

  • You may have already done this, but if you hover your mouse pointer over the "end time" of the meeting, the tool tip will show the meeting details. As far as I know, that's the only way to display the detail; it won't just appear in the contact card itself.
