FYI, the quickest and easiest way I've found to find posts you've made (both now and with the old interface) is to click on your name at the top right, then on the My Profile page click Activity. That'll take you to a page listing every post you've created or replied to, with links to the individual posts and the forums containing them.

To find threads you have participated in you can either go to "My Threads" (under Quick Access) which will display the most recent posts by default or you can go back to the forum (details here). If the response is recent enough you should see it on the first page since this also defaults the view to most recent post. You could also search for the post (details here).
