  • Hi folks i bought a brand new copy of office from ebay, it is sealeed and looks like the real deal, but ive since started reading around and apparently there are some pretty convincing fakes around, so i just want to double check with you guys.

    Version is Office home and student 2010,family pack.Origin is ireland. details are as below : is it genuine?

    Diagnostic Report (1.9.0027.0):

    Unfortunately the Genuine Diagnostics program has not been updated to handle Office 2010 genuine status diagnostics so there is no way we can tell from the report.  You will have to install it and attempt to activate it and if activation fails then you should be given directions to make genuine from there.  If you got it for a "very good price" it may be counterfeit but we have absolutely no way of knowing.  You may want to post the eBay seller's information and we may be able to tell from that however.
