virtual directory

  Hi!
  
  Could someone please help me with this (what seems to me to be a simple question) problem.
  
  I have a virtual directory in the root of my app called PhotoGallery ie ~/PhotoGallery. It points to a physical directory in my website.
  So... I need to get the server path (not physical) to the directory that the virtual directory points to. Sounds simple enough but I can't find out how to for the life of me!
  
  Any help would be much appreciated.
