DataServiceQuery Returns Not a Valid Response Payload RRS feed

  • Question

  • Returning to code that was operational a week ago, I am receiving the following error:

'The response payload is a not a valid response payload.
Please make sure that the top level element is a valid Atom or JSON element or
    belongs to 'http://schemas.microsoft.com/ado/2007/08/dataservices' namespace.'
Has something changed in the last week to OData Services on Azure which requires the retrieving of new schema?

  • Hi AlaskanRogue,

    Thank you for posting here.

Since your question is more related to Azure, you could post a new thread in Azure forum for suitable support.

    https://social.msdn.microsoft.com/forums/azure/en-US/home?category=windowsazureplatform

The CLR Forum discuss and ask questions about .NET Framework Base Classes (BCL) such as Collections, I/O, Regigistry, Globalization, Reflection. Also discuss all the other Microsoft libraries that are built on or extend the .NET Framework, including Managed Extensibility Framework (MEF), Charting Controls, CardSpace, Windows Identity Foundation (WIF), Point of Sale (POS), Transactions.

    Best Regards,

    Wendy

  • Thanks Wendy for the suggestion. Since this is OData, a library which uses Microsoft.Data.Edm that targets .NET related frameworks, I thought this was possibly an appropriate forum.
