CRM 2011 Reporting Extensions with SQL Server 2012 RRS feed

  • Question

  • Hi All,

My colleague did an install yesterday alongside SQL Server 2012.
However when installing the CRM Reporting Extensions he hit the following error:

    Action Microsoft.Crm.Setup.SrsDataConnector.RegisterServerAction failed.
Column 'DatacenterId' does not exist on table Server

The software that he used was the RTM install (VLC/MSDN), which caused this issue when installing the SSRS Connector (Reporting Extensions):
CRM 2011/SQL Server 2012 Cannot install Reporting extensions

Putting Update Rollup 6 on the CRM Server and then attempting to install SRSDataConnector with UR6 (Obtained from Downloads.Microsoft.com) allowed him to get past the issue outlined in the above article but now he is seeing:
    Action Microsoft.Crm.Setup.SrsDataConnector.RegisterServerAction failed.
Column 'DatacenterId' does not exist on table Server

    Before the install completes.

    To Summarise:
    - Installed CRM 2011 RTM
    - Installed CRM Server UR6
    - Error installing SRSDataConnector + UR6 (From Microsoft Downloads)

We've seen this article, although it hasn't resolved for us:Unable to Install CRM Reporting Extensions (Column 'DatacenterId' does not exist...)
    Can anyone offer any guidance?

    Thanks in Advance.

  • Hi,

I also have Windows Server 2012 Standard with SQL Server 2012 Standard with SP1, and I need to install CRM 2011 SRSDataConnector on it.
Please tell me, where I need to contact support ? (url, email, or smth), to ask Microsoft to send me hotfix KB2785613.

    Thank you, Kind regards
