Microsoft CRM 4.0 - CRM Quick Access Toolbar fails to load in Outlook 2007 RRS feed

  • On my terminal server I have a problem where the CRM Quick Access tool bar fails to load in OLK2007 but only with certain users. Event viewer displays a 5906 error (Please see below) somthing about "Time Zone" strange. The Main tool bar loads fine. However when I log on  using the administrator account on the same server, the CRM Quick Access tool bar loads. I think it might be some kind of security issue with my term server. Does any one out there have any suggestions? I tried rollup 7 with no luck.

    Event Viewer is displaying the following message:

    Event ID: 5906

    The Microsoft CRM Outlook add-in was not initialized because the user's time zone could not be updated. Restart Microsoft Outlook and try again. HR=0x80040220. Context=. Function=CEnableState::Activate. Line=159.

    My setup is...
    Terminal server - Windows 2003 R2 Standard SP2
    Outlook 2007 12.0.6514.5000 SP1
    CRM 4.0.7333.1370
    CRM 4.0 Outlook Client 4.0.7333.2138

  • Does user(-s) which have the problem have assign custom security role (for example you need: "Read" permission to "Core Records->Saved View") try to check with other security roles

  • Yes, they do have security roles to "Core Records".

  • Hello,

    we have the same problem (the same error-message) in our CRM and I have no idea for a solution.
    The errormessage is every 5 minutes in the event viewer.

    Do you have a solution at this time?
