Does NOT copy junction points?!? RRS feed

  • Question

  • Synctools doesn't seem to copy junction points, but omits them completely.

It's a bit unfortunate for an application that claims to 'sync'...and then turns out it doesn't.

The proper way should, of course, be to recreate the junction points too. (NOT like some copying/replication claiming programs do, they copy the data, but not to junction point, leading to copy size increase and later potential data loss.)

  • Hi -

Yes you are right - this is a limitation currently. We skip Junction points entirely - it was to avoid a discussion on whether we could recreate the junction points correctly on the other side or if we were better off copying the data. But for now - we are just skipping it altogether.

    Thanks
