  • Question

  • From my threads page: https://social.msdn.microsoft.com/Forums/en-US/user/threads?user=Dev10110110

I can see "Last reply by David Lowndes" for thread: https://social.msdn.microsoft.com/Forums/en-US/1b8baafe-53f9-4f1e-8283-d01037071c62/determine-process-type-from-pid-and-primary-thread-id?forum=vcgeneral

However, when I go into the thread, I do not see his post. This occurred for other threads too. Why is that?

  • From some prior comments by David Lowndes I believe that the delay relates to his use of the NNTP bridge.

Sometimes even if his post does not appear in the threaded view of a specific topic you can see it in the forum summary by clicking the down arrow next to the topic and expanding it in the summary.

Well, if it's delayed, then it can't be there. But it is there. So it's not delayed. Rather MS choked on it, and it got stuck in the throat area.

    Thanks for solving the mystery.
