CRM 2011: HTTP Error 401 - Unauthorized: Access is denied RRS feed

  • Friday our CRM worked. Now today nobody can sign in at all. We are getting this error.


    HTTP Error 401 - Unauthorized: Access is denied

    An error has occurred.

    Try this action again. If the problem continues, check the Microsoft Dynamics CRM Community for solutions or contact your organization's Microsoft Dynamics CRM Administrator. Finally, you can contact Microsoft Support.

    Did you check for event viewer logs on the server?

  • If the Application event log on the Crm Server doesn't provide more information, enable tracing.

    Are you using Claims authentication ? If so, also check if the ADFS server has any errors

  • We did check the server logs. The only thing we can think of is our server is not talking to our CRM application to log everyone in automatically. We keep getting this error too. We keep getting this and then it still won't log us in.
