Windows 7 HP product key trouble 3-mo. after installation

Question
-
I bought a boxed version, all sealed-up, from an eBay seller on April 2, 2011 -- on April 30 the listing was removed from eBay for violating something. My copy was working great. All of a sudden today, July 10th, I started having trouble -- getting boxed messages about a counterfeit key & similar messages. If the product key was stolen, it must have taken MS 3-mo. to find out about it & to block it internally. I went online & checked around for an answer, & the "Is it legit" MS site told me to check the packaging carefully. I checked the hologram edge on the CD, or DVD, & it is definitely a label -- it is not built into the disc internally -- which it should be, according to MS. On a MS Answers post I read that if the 3-digit part of my ID number came within one digit of 230 or 231, then it was a stolen or misappropriated key. I ran the MSdiagnose tool & got the following report. Please advise... it looks like I've been 'had' & have to buy a good key -- this time I'll pay more & get it from the MS site!

The product ID -232- Indicates a not for resale MSDN account. If you are not the account holder and you purchased this in a retail box, the box and it's contents are counterfeit. Demand an immediate refund from the seller

To see how good these counterfeits are becoming, see:

You will have to purchase a legitimate windows from a legitimate retailer
EDIT: essentially the same answers in your other thread:
