IFD: OrganizationName.domain.com - can that be changed?

  Using the IFD tool or XML configuration file, you basically have to set a dns record as organizationname.domain.com typically in order to resolve DNS correctly.
  But usually, for single-tenant deployment, you have organizationname named same or similar to domain.
  So you would have something like Microsoft.microsoft.com.
  How can you change this so that crm.microsoft.com is used instead?
  Do you need to set an alias and have crm.microsoft.com point to Microsoft.microsoft.com?
  Microsoft.microsoft.com is already an alias name pointing to the target host internally...
