    Dear Sir,

    What are solution that give from Microsoft in order to do the below requirement, 

    The user search, report, retrieve etc. must be archived content directly. Describe the capabilities surrounding archived content

    Explain your solution's archiving strategy. Can data be archived in a separate database or portion of a database

    The solution should support historical/archived information purging .

    You may periodically backup your database and log all the operations on current database.In case of powers shortage,system crash or any other problem you can restore your database from your lask backup plus perform all the operations from log.In this case you will get the database state right before the crash.
