Upgrade Windows 7 to Windows 10

    Question

  • Where do I get a virus free upgrade to windows 8 so that I can then upgrade to windows 10.  Thank you.

  • Hi,

    I believe you can upgrade directly from Windows 7 to Windows 10 via the Get Windows 10 app (which should be in the tray icons).

    If you don't see it there, troubleshoot with help from this site: https://support.microsoft.com/en-sg/kb/3081048

  • You are correct.  One can Upgrade (directly) to Windows 10 from Windows 7 SP1.

    If the Get Windows 10 icon is not in the Sys Tray, also, one can use the Media Creation Tool to do the job.  Hit the button that says Download Tool Now which can be found HERE.
