Report Server Project in VS 2012

Question
-
I have the 2013 BIDS installed. When I open VS 2010 and try to create a datasource, the FetchXML option is there. However, when I open VS 2012 and do the same thing I don't get the option for a fetch datasource. Is this right? I thought VS 2012 would handle everything CRM related.Friday, August 7, 2015 3:18 PM

Well, I have the 2013 Report Authoring Extension. That's what I mean by BIDS (CRM2013-Bids-ENU-i386.)
That's what I meant. In case you will recheck MS CRM 2013 Report Authoring Extension you can find that it doesn't support VS 2012.
And this leads to my first reply with little modification:
1. Uninstall Report Authoring Extension for CRM 2013.
2. Install Report Authoring Extension for CRM 2015.

Hello,
To make FetchXml datasource available in VS 2012 you have to download and install Report Authoring Extension.
