  • I have paid for the Windows live one care but in the installing process I deleted my present antivirus protector.  Now what!

    What type of Antivirus protector are you using? Did you know that OneCare also has it's own anti-virus component?

     

    Having more than one antispyware program may cause the computer to become unstable, or see an increase in performance activity.  Therefore you might want to stick with one antispyware program. The OneCare antispyware program as it is an excellent tool for steering clear of spyware.

     

    If you're using another antispyware program with OneCare, we recommend that you disable real-time scanning in the other program.

  • Jamie, are you saying that OneCare has not successfully installed, despite the removal of your prior protection?

  • hey, I hit! just to throw my info somewhere,I have used trend micro fr nearly 2 years no virus or any instantly killed prob but 2 weeks ago my home pc was infected by 12 virus 5 trojons and 22 spyware or ad ware whatever these low lifes wanto call thier stuff , nothing worked and something had even tied trends ability ,or mine to connect I hit microsoft updates and within a few hours mostly watching my computer run the checks,fixing even cleaning it up to run as fast as new. So I was hyped but now for the second time in a year windows update destroyed another laptop when they updated then said oh well 2 years we dont even make or deal with those.Nice huh,not even a coupon or discount. maybe the lowlifes that screw us to are venting at the wrong good people or are sitting in offices at microsoft?
