HP - Build 6002 not genuine RRS feed

  • I have an HP and received this error a while ago.  I have attempted complete system reinstalls multiple times and still get the error.

    The problem here is that your OEM_SLP Key cannot check the certificate in the BIOS, for some reason.
    You need to change the Product Key to the COA_SLP Key on the COA Sticker on the case of your computer
    To do this, go to the System Properties page, and at the bottom, you should find the option to Change Product Key.
    Take that, and then activate it - if it fails activation for some reason, try activating over the phone.
