Apply custom Permissions on Specific Project Site Document Libraries RRS feed

    Hello,

    We want to apply custom document library permissions on 5 different document library on our project's project sites. All document library must not seen another people who is not have permission.  I know that we cannot apply custom permissions on Project Site Templates but if you have any suggestions to solve this issue? By the way, we use Project Server 2013 on project Server Permission Mode.

    Yes, You cant not apply Custom permission to project site template.

    Once you create document library with custom permission in the template and save the template for new site it will inherit permission form site so your custom permission will be lost

    If you create document library then save it as template so that it would be available in the gallery and user can reuse it in their project site again it will inherit permission form Project site means  custom permission will be lost.

    So either you teach your user to give custom permission to Document library in their Project site as per needcan  . Or you use event receiver to do that in which you can set your business logic.

    We have discovered that if we use sharepint 2010 workflow, we can control list items permissions on item created event. Thanks for your answer
