Regarding MCTS 70-562 prerequisites.

Question
-
Is it necessary to pass the 70-536 exam to appear for 70-562.
Suppose I have passed 70-562 , can I get the MCTS ASP.NET 3.5 certificate?
Can I at least get the transcript?
Please help.

No, you do not have to pass 70-536 before sitting 70-562. However, you will need to pass 70-536 at a later time if you wish to get your MCTS certification. 70-562 by itself is not enough to obtain the MCTS. You need to pass both exams, but the order is irrelevant; one exam is not a prerequisite for the other.
Can I at least get the transcript?
Yes, as long as you have passed one exam it will appear in your Transcript, even if you have not yet completed the set of exams that provides a MCTS certification.

Hi,
You have to pass 70-536 exam as it is the core exam. After passing 70-536 and 70-562 exam, you will get MCTS Microsoft.NET Framework 3.5 ASP.NET certification. You should check this link to get more details:
