CWA1 for Blackberry / CWA2 for Dial-In RRS feed

  • Question

  • We have OCS R2 Std using CWA R1/RTM to support IM via Blackberry (not possible with CWA R2). On the other hand I seem to need CWA R2 for managing dial-in conferencing. Can I run a second CWA?

  • Yes, you can point the BES Collaboration service at the R1 URL and use the R2 URL for everything else.

  • Thanks - I was not sure if I can have more than one CWA with Std. Edition.

I know that co-locating CWA on FE is not supported (contrary to earlier documentation). Would it still work in a small deployment?

    Thanks for your help,

  • CWA colocation works just fine for R2 - I'm not sure why it's not supported.

  • Thanks - just a few hours late - I already set up a new virtual 2008 Server for CWA R2 :-)
