How to delete a file for all users that is not in a specific folder RRS feed

  • Script Hero's,

    I need to delete a .json file from all users when logging in.  The .json file is "logins.json" which is a cached password for Firefox. The path is, c:\Users\Username\AppData\Roaming\Mozilla\Firefox\Profiles\generic folder different for everyone\logins.json.

    I successfully used the below cmd but my manager doesn't want to use this as he is worried that there may be another logins.json file in a user's profile.  Any thoughts are welcomed.

    @echo off
    dir C:\users\*logins.json*.* /s
    del C:\users\*logins.json*.* /s

  • Use a GPO. There's no need for a script.
