    Hey guys i need some help.When i connect my external hdd to my pc i can not open disk manager because disk manager not responding and if i try to right click on external drive partition on ,,this pc'' folder that don't responding also....How can i format that? If i try soft like partition magic or partition wizzard when i open the soft with external drive connected the soft don't responding if i connect the drive after i open the soft instantly not responding ! :( i hate my life :)) i have some important files on that stupid external drive...So pls help me!

    Hi abraxela,

    I'm afraid you are in a wrong place. This is a place for software development. Your issue is not related with development.

    Putting that aside....
    According to your description, your external HDD would be corrupted.
    If it is corrupted, no software can recognize it (with no response). Can you hear rotating sound of HDD? Can you see access lamp lit or blinking? If you connect it to other computers, how about it?

    i have solved the problem... i has boot with linux and change the format of partitions....now i try to recovery some data...do you know a good soft for that?

    The manufacturer of your External Hard drive should be able to assist you.
