Can't validate XP Media Center RRS feed

  • Question

  • I am a MAPS subscriber, and as part of the Action Pack we had received an OEM version of Media Center. I tried to install it on a desktop PC, and have had all sorts of trouble...first with installing SP2, now with validation. I recall having difficulty with the OEM version of XP Pro before, but the was because I used it more than once (by mistake...instead of using the VLK and software that was provided). I have not used this OEM version of Media Center until now. Why won't it validate?

    1. What edition of Windows XP is it for, Home, Pro, or Media Center? Media Center
    2. Does it read "OEM Software" or "OEM Product" in black lettering? No, but it is the gold hologram CD, and reads "For distribution with a new PC only"
    3. Or, does it have the computer manufacturer's name in black lettering? No
    4. DO NOT post the Product Key. OK
    5. Please also provide a short description of the issue you are experiencing. See above

    Here is the diagnostic results:
